1. Who we are
The Signature Designs is a business systems studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website.
2. What we collect
When you use the contact form, download a free resource or join a waitlist we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, business name, the services you are interested in, your budget range and your message.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
3. When you buy a product
When you buy an AI Division product we collect your name and email address so we can send your download link, and we receive the payment reference and amount from PayFast, which processes the payment. We never see or store your card or bank details; PayFast handles them under its own privacy policy.
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
4. Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver work you have asked for, and, if you joined a waitlist, to tell you when a product launches.
If you ask for it (by downloading a free resource or ticking the box on the contact form), we also send occasional emails with practical tips, new resources and offers. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
We do not sell your information.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run this website and our email, such as our hosting provider, our email provider, our email marketing platform and PayFast for payments. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
Some providers may store data outside South Africa. Where they do, we use providers bound by data protection obligations comparable to POPIA.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Client project records are kept as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do so, email hello@thesignaturedesigns.co.za.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited access.
9. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
